Tips to Keep Your Wedding Running Smoothly!
Congratulations On your engagement!
As your special day gets closer, things tend to get busy fast and I would like to share some tips with you that can make your day the happy day it's supposed to be. Once your wedding date approaches, it is easy to get emotional in all the hustle to have everything ready. The more emotional you get, the harder it is to keep track of important duties and it can make you feel stretched very thin. It is for this reason that I recommend you enlist the help of your Bridal party and collectively work together. You will drive yourself crazy trying to micromanage every detail single handedly. Delegate some of the responsibilities to trusted people. Also, keep a journal to assist you through the day. Fill in the journal with a page of the Phone numbers of everyone in your bridal party and other VIP guests list. Create another page containing the point of contact and phone number for any vendors, services, or key personnel like the officiant, Photographer, Caterers, Bakers, and your DJ. Especially your DJ because he can be your best friend throughout the day. The DJ is often the M.C./Emcee of the event but not always. however, your M.C. and/or DJ will help you keep the flow of your event and help make your day a lot less stressful. The DJ is going to largely carry the mood of the day along. It is important that you share your entertainment interests with your DJ in advance. Create a timeline of when events should occur and who is key to each portion of your event. If dinner has just finished and first dances are starting you don't want to have to stall your event to track someone down. It does happen but it can be a whole lot easier to find them when your handy little journal has their phone number contained within. Give the DJ, other service providers, and your bridal party physical copies of the agenda for the day. when everyone is on the same page, you will be largely freed up and able to celebrate your day. This is the goal. Simply making sure everyone else knows what to do so you don't have to. If you need some planning forms to help you keep organized, I do have some available. Please, Send me an Email in the contact section or reach me via the Chat link at the bottom of the Page. I will respond as soon as I can. Please allow up to 24 hours for me to respond as I could very well be at another event. My goal is to give you a happy and memorable day while keeping you and your guests thoroughly entertained. I know your day is important and I will do a good job for you. Also, feel free to use me as a resource. I network with a lot of great individuals and services that could help make your day easier. sometimes it's good to have a nudge in the right direction. The last tip I would like to share with you is to have a little wedding survival kit put together. Within the kit, keep things like some extra buttons, safety pins, Black & White thread with a sewing needle, A roll of scotch tape, some small pieces of paper and a few pens. A few rolls of ribbon, twine & twist ties will also be helpful. Lastly, Have a backup plan for outdoor weddings in the event the weather does not cooperate and creates unfavorable conditions to carry on outdoors. I sincerely hope you find these tips helpful. I look forward to speaking with you about your special day soon! Once again, congratulations on your engagement! Its time to celebrate!
